The Work

What You'll Help Build

Our crews work on outdoor spaces that are designed to last for decades. Depending on the project, your work may include:

  • Preparing job sites and keeping materials organized.
  • Excavating, grading, and compacting base.
  • Helping install pavers, wall block, stone, steps, and edging.
  • Supporting drainage and grade work before the finished surface goes in.
  • Assisting with fire features, outdoor kitchens, water features, and landscape beds.
  • Loading, unloading, and moving materials safely.
  • Cleaning up job sites and treating each property with care.

This is not work where you hide behind a desk. You’ll be outside, using your hands, learning from the crew, and helping build spaces people will use for some of their best moments at home.

  • Work well with a small crew.
  • Treat clients, coworkers, tools, equipment, and job sites with respect.

You do not need to know everything on day one. You do need to be dependable, coachable, and willing to work hard.

The Team

What It's Like to Work With Us

Serenity Outdoors is a small team. That means your work matters, your attitude affects the day, and your growth is visible.

Jon Croy started Serenity Outdoors in 2017 and still leads the company with a focus on communication, mentorship, and employee development. Several members of the crew have grown into larger roles over time, and we want people who are interested in building skill, not just filling a seat for a season.

The work can be hard. The days can be hot, muddy, cold, or long. But the right person gets to learn a trade, work with a crew that cares, and help create outdoor spaces that families enjoy for years.

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
  • Hands-on training in hardscape construction.
  • A small crew environment where your work is noticed.
  • Opportunities to grow into more responsibility.
  • Outdoor work that changes from project to project.
  • A company that cares about craftsmanship, communication, and doing the job right.

We’ll talk through pay, hours, seasonality, start date, and expectations during the hiring process.
